PHASES

THE PRE-CONCEPT PHASE

  • The first step in our process is to make definition crystal clear. A Pre-Concept Presentation is formed through in-depth project immersion, information gathering, research and ideation – culminating in the presentation of a Pre-Concept Presentation. This top-level view encapsulates the allows for discussion and ultimately commitment to a single vision allowing for a definitive path to development​

 

 PHASE II : THE CONCEPT INTEGRATION PHASE

Once the Pre-Concept is complete we move on to the Concept Integration Phase. This is an extensive document, the bulk of the Concept

 

 

PHASE II : THE CONCEPT INTEGRATION PHASE : BRAND & BUSINESS

The Business & Brand Model lays the structure that underpins the business.

 

 

 PHASE II : THE CONCEPT INTEGRATION PHASE : DESIGN

The Design Presentation

The venue is unfolded into more detailed sub-spaces where we apply layers of detailed concept description and visuals. This includes: exteriors, entrance and sense of arrival, bar/lounge, restaurant, exposed kitchens, kitchen planning/flow, private dining and retail areas, as defined by the Pre-Concept. Layers add texture, context and meaning and can be specific to an area or overlaid throughout the entire venue. This is the necessary next step in order to brief the various consultants required to bring the concept to life – architects, Kitchen Designers, MEP engineers, interior designers, landscapers and procurement agents.

PHASE II : THE CONCEPT INTEGRATION PHASE : CULINARY & BEVERAGE 

This part of the Concept Blueprint is used to work with our team to create clear briefs for the menus and the product presentation. 

 

PHASE III : THE CONCEPT BLUEPRINT ( FINAL PHASE )

 

Following the presentation of the Concept Integration Phase, our team works to refine the concept, taking into account client feedback from the presentation or workshop. The final components are then added including the customer journey and engagement ideas that will set brand/marketing team in the right frame of mind.

 

PHASE IV: THE CONCEPT EVOLUTION PHASE

 

This is the stage where we collectively commit to the vision, where we collaborate with the client and the other trades to develop the concept into a tangible and viable space and product.

 

Kode, through its internal or external resources, can also engage Interior Kitchen Designers, Chef Consultants, MEP Designers, Interior Designers, Procurement Agents, Landscape Consultants, behalf of the client.

 

PHASE V: TURN KEY PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

This is the phase where take the concept and develop it to opening and launch.
